Today I visited Copra in San Francisco and had a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance is stunning, modern, lively, and beautifully designed, making it perfect for a relaxed evening or team outing. We tried a few dishes that were creative and full of flavor, with a great balance of traditional and contemporary Indian influences. The presentation was impressive, and the food tasted fresh and well-crafted. The bar area adds great energy to the place, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, Copra offers a unique upscale Indian dining experience and is definitely worth visiting if you’re in San Francisco.

I’ve been to Copra quite a few times over the years and I’ve finally gotten around to writing a review. Copra is excellent - whether it’s the specialty meals on Mother’s Day or just a regular night out. On my most recent visit, I had the Kori Gassi and the Black Truffle Egg Appam - two of my favorite dishes. The kori gassi consist of a spicy chicken gravy and a rice pancake made from fermented batter and is quite unlike any traditional dosa you may have had. The drinks are pretty unique and strong as well.

It was my 3rd time here. Went for a team dinner. We tried all the vegetarian items on the menu and fried chicken. The fried chicken is one of the best things on the menu. Also loved gunpowder vadai, cauliflower curry, all the chaat dishes. We did not have a reservation but luckily called them and got one table.
